Crawford Dog and Cat Hospital is Nassau County's premier provider of compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care for Long Island's dogs and cats. Located in Garden City Park, easily accessible from all the major parkways, our modern facility and caring staff can help your pets with all of there healthcare needs, including wellness care, internal medicine, imaging, surgery, dentistry, and inpatient care. We also make house calls for those pets that are difficult to transport, or for clients that prefer to have their pet seen in the comfort of their home environment.
Crawford Dog and Cat Hospital was founded by Dr.J Stuart Crawford, at 2135 Jericho Turnpike in Garden City Park in 1935 . When it first opened it's doors, it was a mixed animal practice that treated both large and small animals. It moved into the current facility in 1986, and after 2 generations of Dr Crawfords, was purchased by Dr. Niesenbaum in 2001. The kennel was integrated into the hospital in 2002 and since then we have modernized our medical facilities to include a complete in house laboratory, digital radiology, a new dental operatory, computerized medical records, and
revamped surgery and anesthesia departments. Our goal is to offer our patients the most up to date veterinary care in a caring, welcoming environment.
At Crawford Dog and Cat Hospital, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.
